I am loving deviled eggs lately. Lately, I've been experimenting with fillings, with a goal of being healthful and yummy. Tonight, I filled some egg whites with jalapeño lime hummus (yum!). I also made a filling with the yolks, light mayo, and horseradish (also yum!).

I've tried swapping out mayo for Greek yogurt, but didn't care for that.

Anyone else doing interesting things with deviled eggs?

I've used Walden Farms calorie-free honey-mustard mayo & fat-free sour cream to mix with the yolks. I've also used Walden Farms calorie-free French onion dip.

I tried guacamole deviled eggs once & didn't care for them even though I love guacamole & I love deviled eggs.< /p>

I like to mix crab meat with just a dollob of Greek yogurt, horseradish, and of course the egg yolks.

I season it with Old Bay crab spice and lemon.

YUM!

You could use a bit of mayo, if you don't like the yogurt.

Enjoy!!!

That sounds very, very tasty :) never thought of that before but I'm definitely going to try it! Following this thread for more ideas, too!

before surgery i HATED all eggs and especially hard boiled eggs. Now I can't get enough deviled eggs - I may be boring but i like to mix the yolk with low fat mayo, mustard, parika, celery and turkey bacon bits (you only need a few pieces to perk it up)

But dang - that crab one sounds amazing! I have been making crab salad for myself - it is so funny when i go to the seafood counter and ask them to rip me off 2 small legs and by small i mean SMALL - and i still usually have leftover crab!

I made your recipe for crab deviled eggs. I used 2 eggs, 1 oz Alaskan crab leg meat ($1.25 at the seafood counter. Hahaha) a little mayo, I added a little mustard and Chesapeake bay seasoning. My lemon was bad when I went to use it. It was delicious.

It ended up being for 1/2 an egg:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
