Hi ladies - I took the full three days in the hospital and was out on Friday by 5 pm ... Feeling ok -- trying to get the Water and Protein in, like everyone else

I'm not hungry but boy would I like some fruit or toast ... But it is normal

On the pre- op liquid diet for 2 weeks I lost 17 lbs - and my blood sugars are fantastic . I am officially off insulin and expecting to be off Metformin soon

So the eating and Water consumption is difficult, but seeing good things .... I hope you June 1st' ers are also experiencing good things !

The surgery took about 2 hours and in recovery when I woke and headed to my room. I'm home finally and had a rough morning because I'm off the morphine drip. But I took the pain reliever medicine they gave me and I'm feeling much better now. Working at my schedule now getting my Vitamins in my Water in my pro team in as been up working since 7 AM. Hope everything else is having a good day congratulations to my gym and sisters in the sleeve we did it!!!!

Feeling so much better each day. June 1 was a blur compared to today. I'm up and about around the house. Clear liquids until tomorrow when I add in Protein shakes. I sit away from my cups so I am forced to get up and drink them. Am supposed to get in 64 oz today. Napping will happen between sips. You watch me sip, sip. You watch me lay, lay.

Wasn't sure if I'd ever make it past misery but finally I have.

My Clear Liquids have been Water, Mio and Propel added to Water, chicken broth and Jello. Didn't like Jello at all.

Excited to see doc on Tues and find out my new weight. I got my surgery weight mixed up. It's either 245.7 or 247.5. Either one is awesome. My SW goal was 250. I'm already passing some goals.

Just think how amazing we will feel and look by the end of summer! Here's hoping for an extended summer!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
