Sleeved May 9. Since surgery lost 6lbs. I don't weigh every day cuz I am still bloated and distended. Between pre-op appt and surgery I lost 10lbs. Trying not to obsess about weight but instead focus on walking (only at 30mjns daily so far), protein (getting in 20g-40g daily vs 50g goal), and water (getting 25-50oz daily). More work to do.

Total loss 16lbs as of yesterday.

Sleeved May 11th. I am struggling to get my Fluid in have only just been making 1 liter. I have also only been getting about 10-15g of Protein I'm trying it's just not working. I have only lost about 2 pounds since surgery. You all to be doing so well :) . Maybe I should speak to my doctor??

What are you all doing go get protein in? The most I'm getting is 30g from 2 protein shakes but I'm doing pretty well with water. I was sleeved may 9th

Sleeved May 12th, had a setback on May 13th (Dehydration) and ended back in the hospital for two more days. I am struggling to get all my fluids in let alone meeting any protein goals.

I've been averaging 30g protein but should get in more. Sources for me include Premier Protein shakes (split across the day), milk, using unflavored whey isolate powder in bream of wheat and sugar free instant breakfast or soups (1 scoop is 13.5g). Also I like Isopure Clear Zero drinks - ea 11oz bottle is 15g protein and a great way to get fluid in at same time. Found on Nashua Nutrition site. Grape frost is best flavor.

For me I need variety and lots of it in small amounts. When I wake up I try to drink water first - sipping 8oz water. Then I get ready / dressed and have a small something for breakfast with protein (4oz milk, instant breakfast with whey, 1/2 premier shake, or a few tbsp of cream of wheat with whey powder). A little at a time adds up.

I was sleeved on May 10. Doing well so far. Had my one week followup with NP and NUT yesterday. I've been able to meet my Protein and Water goals but NP suggested increasing water by 16 oz since I seemed dehydrated. (I had been meeting my 64 oz of water with 48 water and including 2 protein shakes toward the total. This is allowed by my plan but they suggested trying for more water this week.) My typical day is as follows:

powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury with 8 oz 1% milk 29g protein

Oikos triple zero Greek yogurt 15g

Premier Protein 30g

Snacks: SF Jello pudding, SF jello, SF Popsicles.

I've been lucky to feel very little restriction or pain. I'm dealing with some head hunger and cravings but generally making it through pretty well.

What kind of shakes? Premier Protein have 30gms each and low sugar. If you can drink 2 now - 2 of them would double your protein for the day!

I was sleeved May 11 was at 253 on day of surgery and today at 240. I was placed on full liquid diet for 10 days so the only thing I have been able to get down is isopure, muscle milk protein shake, and water. Still struggling trying to get all my fluids in

Hi guys I was sleeves on May 11 and I'm doing OK I'm only getting about 30 ounces of Water and about 50 grams approaching. I really been trying hard to get in the water and Protein but it's like I'm not even hungry nor do I feel like drinking. I also have applesauce and Jell-O for Snacks sugar-free of course. However i'm feeling very sluggish I'm also taking my Vitamins and I took a B 12 shot for my preop visit with the nurse. I'm really feeling dehydrated in on my postop visit tomorrow I'm gonna let them know.

@@Dejaalex You really need to increase your fluids even if you aren't hungry or feel like drinking. I'm sure this is why you don't feel well. Skip the Apple sauce (too many carbs) and have fluids. Try broth, tea, sugar free popsicles, crystal light, water flavors with electrolytes. It doesn't have to be plain water. Hope you feel better soon.
