Can a Icee stretch your pouch

Recommended Posts

If you have gastric bypass please just ask your doctor about the straw. I would listen to him not veteran sleevers. There is more information on it online from doctors which include the ulcer comment. But it is better to just ask your doctor. I have a feeling if I brought back a doctors note on it. I would still be called a liar. Haters going to hate. Personally I could careless if you stretch your pouch or get an ulcer. I tried to warn you. Again this is to gastric bypass.

@"Ele Marie" You are commenting on a Thread that was initiated in the Gastric Sleeve Forum. The Veteran Sleevers are the people we look to advice from when posting in this forum. You have no experience in this topic - and in fact - 3 weeks post-op from Bypass that you don't seem to be following any advised plan (and admitted to lying to the Psych person to be cleared to have any WLS) you really don't have any valuable experience or knowledge of Bypass either.

I had know idea that I was on a sleeve forum? I thought this was for all weight loss surgeries. That makes a lot of sense. Is there different Forums on this app? Or do you know? I have been getting so beat up on stuff I say. Maybe that is why. Of course I know a sleeve person does not have a pouch. And my straw comment would not apply to them.

Thank you for letting me know this is for sleeves.

I will try and find my people.

Good luck on your journey and thank you.

That's deep.

You are right, of course.

The truth will come out in the end.

Thank goodness we have you here to guide us until then......

Oh, but she is an expert, dear. She's the Chosen One.......sent to collect us, the misguided.

She's come for us....in her stretch mini-van....come to collect our wayward selves and bus us to the nearest Golden Corral for a throw down of epic proportions.

Why are we even giving this person the time of day?

Looking through her posting history, she is one of the most ill informed people about proper nutrition and bariatric surgery in general I've ever seen. Facts don't matter to her.

She must be a Trump supporter.

Know idea, huh?

Well that does, indeed explain quite a bit.

No....that's not why you've been getting beat up for the stuff you've said. You've simply been getting beat up for saying it.

As far as finding your people.....I'm sure they are out there.....somewhere..........

If you look at the top of a thread it tells you what forum it is in. I always check when I am on the app, to make sure I don't make a mistake. It takes 1/2 a second.

This is one of the many reasons I prefer posting from the PC.

I have only been fat the last 4 years in my whole life and really did not feel the psychologist who evaluated me needed to know that. 4 years in my whole life is alot different than someone who has had the struggle for all of Thier life. I know more about diet and healthy eating then you think. Right now I am just following the doctor's orders. I will get back to myself very soon. And from there I know what to do. And I do follow my doctor's orders. Here is my menu. post-292157-14634988511509_thumb.jpg

No, no, no dear Babbs.

Us Trumpers would never allow such kookiness. We'd have our wall built to keep such madness out of our village.

By the way....did you not see the pic she posted ? Doesn't look like a Trump person to me. I could be wrong, though. I often am.

I kind of feel like we have to refute inaccurate information, because if we don't it looks accurate. There are so many people that lurk and read here. If we let BS stand it might harm some other new person, or worse scare someone for surgery.

I'm pretty sure at this point she is just a troll that never even had WLS. The app makes these forums far too accessible to all kinds of random people.

I am glad you shared this. It is interesting to note the very first item is at least 50 grams of Protein. I know the last time we talked about it you were nowhere near that amount. How are you doing at getting at least 50 grams of Protein and 64 oz of Water a day? Did you call and make an appointment with your NUT and therapist?

Outside mat.

I use this from my phone. I think I will just delete the app. I do not know how to use it. I am so sorry I offended people here was not my intention. I wish you all great success.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
