I had the surgery on March 28th... I stalled not once, not twice but three times so far. I'm down 35 pounds so far, and am currently in my 4th stall. My body is in a routine of staying the same 1.5-2 weeks and then randomly dropping 5 pounds in one day, just to do it all over again. Its normal, just keep doing what your doing, stay positive, and the scale WILL move, I promise!!!!

I was sleeved on April 6th as well. I stalled on May 6th and have gone up and down a pound this whole 10 days. This is driving me nuts and of course I feel like Am I done with the weight loss. I am down about 23 pounds since the day of surgery. I'm sorry to say that I am glad that it is not just me. I was reaching out to a friend that I made on the day of the surgery and she introduced me to this site today. I was starting to feel like their is something wrong with me. Hopefully this won't last too long and the pounds will start to pick up again. Good luck with your Journey.

Maybe you are losing inches? I am 3 weeks out 4 in a few days. I have not had a stall yet I have lost 17 pounds since my last weigh in. But my clothes I've gone down 3 pants sizes and from a 4x to a 1x and my bras are way to big in the cup and I went from the biggest clips on the bra to the tightest and still have room. My shoes are also to big. So check your measurements that counts too!

Its been two weeks and still the same weight. Actually gained 2 pounds. I'm pretty sure I'm getting in all my fluids but my Protein might not be up to par. I have been eating some carbs so maybe that would be the reason? Its really hard for me because my mom is always yelling at me telling me I'm not doing enough and not eating good but I've only been eating like 1000 calories a day. Idk if that's to much for a month and a half out. She had gastric bypass so i keep trying to explain to her that bypass people tend to lose faster then sleeve patients. She doesn't listen though. I really do want to to lose more weight but this is really frustrating me ????

- You need to track your food and Water and know how much you've had daily. You need to meet your Protein goals.

- What was your prescribed diet? Are you eating things not on it? How many calories are you supposed to have?

If you are eating 1000 calories - you should be at least meeting your protein goals.

- What carbs are you eating?

- remember protein first and if room produce. No Pasta, bread, rice, Cookies, cake, etc.

You will only be successful by following the plan. This is your journey - not your Mom's.

I think 1000 cals in a day might be too much for 1.5 months out. Ive heard thats what ppl eat when theyre in maintenance

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
