Tell me i am not doomed to fail!

Hey all,

I am 7 days post op and have not lost a single bit of weight.. down to the gram!

I know that i would have Water weight due to the IV etc.... but come on.... no weight loss at all??!!!!!.. nada.. zilch... zip.. ????

Can someone please ease my mind and let me know if anyone else experienced this... all i seem to read is people dropping significant amount of weight during their first week.

It's okay now.. It was the ROUGHEST 8 days! I had a gastric leak.. I had to use TPN feedings (IV) for two weeks after the surgery. I still have my jp drain... I'm back to normal stage 2 eating.. Hoping all my attachments get removed next week. Then I'll feel close to normal. Doctor wanted the leak to heal 100% .
