How's everyone doing? I've been getting all my Water and Protein in. I've got to learn to pace my walking but I've been hitting about a mile a day in my steps. My stitches has been my new nemesis especially the left one. I think gravity isn't helping. So to combat this I got a belly band like for pregnancy and it seems to give it enough support. Also I'm still waiting for the surgery IV and the swelling to go down as I came out post-op 6lbs heavier than I went into surgery.

I totally relate to the weight gain! so crazy that water weight and bloating is a real thing! good for you doing a mile per day! I have been taking it pretty easy, super tired. I couldn't do plain water, but I figured out that cold low calorie Gatorade mixed with regular water is my ticket to hydration!

I had a great recovery so far. Healing nicely. Getting my Vitamins and minerals in, fluids, and Protein in every day. Walking a few miles every day. No pain at all. Here comes the bad news. Two days after surgery, my mother passed away. So I have to travel now for the funeral and stay on top of everything while traveling. Wish me luck.

So sorry to hear about your mother. Best of luck keeping up with your fluids and meeting goals. It will be a challenge but you can do it.
