  9. I had a girls weekend and sipped on a daiquiri, doc approved of course. It lasted all day because I took my sweet time. No problems here. Other that that I'm on my grind working to get down but I plan on having a nice drink in moderation ever now and then. Btw... lost two pounds that weekend!!!

  15. The weight gain is from all the fluids the pump you with to keep you hydrated while in hospital. No worries, it will all drop off pretty fast. Your healing.
  16. I feel your pain! I started feeling better by the 4th or 5th day. Still tender but it was more bearable. Hang in there. Each day gets better. You just had major surgery so it will take some time to heal. The first week is defiantly all about healing.
  17. I went back the following week and glad I did. Got tired at times but pressed through. Worked out great for me. Just take it easy
  18. Thanks for the heads up AmyMarie! That's helps. My dietician said our bodies are still healing right now and we are just focusing on staying hydrated. She continued with the weight will pick up the next stage when we've healed more.
  19. Sleeved on 28th too. I have been frustrated with my 10 day stall as well. Dietician said it's because my body is healing right now and the weight will come off. Just think months from now. Trying to stay positive! Inches have came off. Some clothes fit better. Persevere....
  20. I was sleeved on 28th too! Doc started me on puree yesterday for 3 weeks. It's been easier than I thought other then trying to make sure I have enough protein in my new pureed foods. My stitches are healing and the glue is coming off. It's getting so much easier to drink larger sips and I so glad. It does take me 20 min to eat my 4oz. What a nice change. Good luck everyone
  21. It will take the body a little to bounce back after a major surgery for sure. Moving builds up stamina and staying hydrated is a must. One day at a time will get us there!
  22. I was on full liquids for 7 days. Just stared pureed today!
