One year post-op and LOTS of gas. Help!

What are the leading causes of intestinal gas? What foods should we be avoiding?

I'm one year post-op and I can't seem to determine anything specific that causes my gas, but it's terribly inconvenient to deal with. After trying many gas relief aids, I learned that they don't STOP gas; they just help you pass it...and I have no problem passing it on my own!

What is causing so much gas?
