8 wks post op need help with food question

I am 8 days (sorry for the typo on the subject) post op and I have followed my surgeons diet plan to the T but tonight I got so hungry that water or chicken broth wasn't doing it for me. I went out and bought a Dannons light and fit yogurt which is about 6 ounces. And in about 40 minutes I ate all of it. I'm just wondering is this ok or not. I'm freaking out.

I am 8 weeks out as well. I have a whole Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt every day. They are 5.5 oz. Are you not on reg. foods yet?

8 days or 8wks? Big difference.

BUT, anytime you feel like you're "freaking out", it's time to pick up the phone and call your doctor's office. If you can't get through, call your nutritionist.

Keep us posted, because we care.

The surgeon told me to have clear liquids until the 12th. I am not supposed to change my diet until I see him. And I'm kinda freaking out that I had all 6 ounces

call. It will ease your mind.

Please let us know what you find out. We really do care!
