Who out there still eats ice cream after their sleeve?

I do. But I have been at goal for about a year now. I probably have it at least 2x a week.

I became somewhat lactose intolerant post sleeve so have had small quantities a handful of times over the last 4 years.

Something to think about,maintenance seems to get harder for some about 3 years post op so watch for any old habits sneaking back. I used to eat ice cream a few times a week and in generous portions so even if I tolerated it better I would limit it as it is an old trigger.

I do eat ice cream (probably once every month or two), since I've been at or below goal.

FYI, I reached my weight goal at 8.5 months post-op and have continued to slowly lose another 15 pounds since then.

But I sure didn't eat ice cream before I reached my goal weight!

I eat it when I have a desire for it. Sometimes it doesn't agree with my pouch.

I've had ice cream probably 4-5 times in the 29 months since I've had the sleeve. My stomach doesn't really like milk very much, but it is oddly tolerant of ice cream. Ice cream is one of those foods that if it doesn't make me sick, I will eat it all the time, so I just keep it out of my house. If I really want some, I'll have some, however I find that the one thing that makes me gain weight is sweets, so I just generally avoid them.

There's nothing wrong with eating ice cream, it's yummy, but I just don't have it much because I like it a little bit more than I should.
