STEF,

I AM A LITTLE NERVOUS TOO ABOUT THIS FILL. I THINK THIS MAY ACTUALLY BE THE "ONE" THAT GIVES ME GOOD RESTRICTION. I HOPE SO ANYWAY. RIGHT NOW I ONLY HAVE 1.7 CC'S IN MY 4 CC BAND. HE GIVES SMALL FILLS, BUT HOPEFULLY HE WILL BUMP ME UP TO AT LEAST 2 CC'S. I GUESS WE WILL SEE. I GO THIS AFTERNOON. I HOPE YOU GET A GOOD FILL. MY FIRST 2 DIDN'T DO MUCH FOR ME AT ALL. I CAN STILL EAT bread, AND EVERYTHING ELSE. I HAVE LOST 6 LBS. SINCE MY LAST FILL 2 WEEKS AGO, BUT I DON'T SEEM TO GET FULL AT ALL. I CAN EAT ALOT MORE THAN JUST A CUP OF food. I GUESS ITS ALL THE EXERCISING THAT IS MAKING ALL THE DIFFERENCE. HUBBY JUST BOUGHT ME A TREADMILL, AND I AM LOVING IT. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU TODAY, AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, YOU ARE ONE HECK OF A BUSY WOMAN. YOU ROCK GIRL :rockon::rockon:

Hi Beckiet! It's never to late to join :)

Sweetie & Stef, I JUST got my second fill on Tuesday. I have a total of 1.3cc's in my 4cc band. It seems to be doing the trick thus far. Should I start rejoicing or is it just swelling from the fill???? I sure hope this did the trick! I won't get another for 5 weeks (at DH's 6 week post-op check). You two are doing great with your challange! I upped mine from 600min's to 750min's but still can't touch you two. You go girls!!!

Well I just got back from having my third fill. She put .6cc in, so now I have a total of 4.6cc's in my 10cc band. Yes, Sweety, mine hurt this time, too! Not a big deal, just like a really bad shot. She said she hit some fibrous tissue she had to push through. So they took all the pics, she put a bandaid on me and I was out the door. I got pics again, of course! This one shows the band MUCH more clearly...you can see where the tube comes off and everything. Unfortunately, you also see my underwire clear as day! LOL I had no idea that the stomach was so high in the body! So that was my morning so far. I haven't tried to eat or drink anything yet, so we will see how this one goes. Have a good day, all...I'm off to work!

Add 60 minutes from a step class last night. Not sure what I will fit in this weekend, if we take our kids to a historical event in old town Fredericksburg. If so, I will walk in th am. we will leave earlier and I won't make it to my double class Saturday morning.

MM: sorry it took so long to anwser you about where I hike. I live about 55 miles east of LA cail. I live about 5 mins from the san bernardino mountains thats where I hike most of the time. This whole past week I spent camping in Zion NP in southern utah, where I did alot of hiking. I think zion is my fav place on earth. Here is a pic of a hike called "angels landing" it's a small ridge with 1800ft on one side and 1200ft of the other. I was pretty freaked out up there but it was so much fun.

WOW! That is some gorgeous landscape you have there! I can see why you love it there!

BTW...are those TEVA sandals on your feet? I've got some TEVA Dozer Leathers that I LOVE, but always wondered how they would really hold up out there hiking and how comfortable they would remain? We are going to Vegas in November and have booked several different excursions out in the desert, and I was planning on taking them.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
