I am 3.5 months out and have been using Bariatric Advantage chews as my Calcium choice. They are pricey but I love them. They are like my treat every day and have a very low calorie count compared to other over the counter chews i have seen. I am paying around $18.00 for a months worth which includes shipping.

Please share where you have found them at the best price or share what you are currently using.

I have no problems swallowing my reflux pill, but don't want anything too large.

Thanks!

I use the same Calcium chews! I get them at mybariatricpantry.com for $44 + $5 shipping for a 9 month supply (270 chews). Come in a big canister that seals tightly.

You might want to verify that 270 chews is a 9 months supply. When I was on the chews I was eating three of them a day.

I actually switch away from the chews and take Calcium carbonate pills from costco. I believe I get 500 pills for $10. I wanted to switch as I was tired of wasting my calories in chews. I wanted to use those calories to eat food and get more Protein in.

Thanks for the suggestions. My surgeon calls for calcium citrate, but I have seen it in pill form as well. I don't mind the 45 calories, I just include them in my plan.

@ stacyrg1 I was wondering about those. Glad to hear they go down easy. I may give them a try.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
