Rash under breast relief

Recommended Posts

I finally found a way to stop the rashes!!! I have been doing this for 3 months now and not one rash. It's so simple. Use deodorant! I use a stick kind and I am rash free. Yahooo, my last rash was so bad I thought I was going to start bleeding. I am not doing anything different other than the deodorant!:whoo:

Actually, I've been to the derm dr. for this, 'Intertrigo'.

It's a fungus, I got it three years ago when I hit my heaviest...and each spring, the first sign of heat/humidity - HERE IT COMES. You can treat this with Lotrimin Spray/Powder is the best version I find. Be sure to totally dry under your breasts after a shower, and even under arms (I get the weeping, rash there sometimes too). Been doing this for years. Best part now; I work for the company who makes it!!! HEHEHEHE

The NSV for me with regard to this; after my current weight loss (which is recommended to get rid of this) - I didn't have one outbreak this whole summer. Yet. Now watch, I've just cursed myself! lol :faint:

You're right...deodorant does help prevent the probelm (antiperspirant kind, of course). But if I do get chafing, I use that wonderful Boudrouex's Butt Paste.......it cures it up in a hurry.

Thanks,

I've been getting bad rashes under my belley and around my thighs-- hurts like heck!

Gyne said it is a type of yeast skin infection and you can use anything you would use vaginally, such as Monistat, etc. It does work! :)

Yes, all that cream help when you get the rash, but the deodorant keeps them from coming back. I don't get any more rashes. I don't use an antiperspirant. I have also started using it under my belly!

The deodorant is especially good to use prior to any type of exercise, it keeps the area so that it can slide, without the skin pulling, if that makes sense.

I use my usual antiperspirant---which I think is Suave, nothing expensive, and it works like a charm. I have got heat rash type of thing under my breasts if I am sitting, for too long, I think it is a combo of the heat, and the latex/ elastic in my bras----OUCH! It sometimes feels like a burn. The deodorant fixes it up!

ok so I got my first rash of this kind sadly its not that Ive been working out and the funny thing is I think the deoderant may have caused it. I was using the deoderant because I was shaving bikini area and then out of no where I had this burning sensation and then I knew it was like a yeast infection but on the skin. Honestly I was horrified as someone else stated I was like damn Im fat as if I was unaware of this before this moment but it stood out because its like finally Im excersising and finally Im starting to loose some weight and here comes this irritating little patch thats keeping me from doing much because it hurts so much. Im going to see my dr tomorrow and see if I can get rid of it and prevent it from comming back.

Wait until you get close to goal. Your bellybutton collapses and you'll get it there instead of under your belly. :whoo:

I use the deodorant trick for the inside of my thighs - if you're going to be some where on a hot day and you have to do a lot of walking - it works great! <O:p</O:p

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
