Time off for 360 body lift

Recommended Posts

I finally scheduled my consult, and I am so excited!! I'm going in April 8th. Had to put it off a little due to vacation. My husband and I just hit our goal for saving for the surgery, and we'll still have a few months to put some additional money away. I'm hoping now that I can have my surgery in May or June. I'm meeting with my bosses in Tuesday to discuss things and hopefully make a plan for RN coverage at our clinics while I'm out. I plan to take 8 weeks still. Due to the nature of my job and never knowing if I'll be catching a patient who passes out or running down the hall to assist with something, I don't want to potentially complicate my recovery by returning too early! I would be a lot harder to just plan for 8 weeks than return too early and have to go back out!!

I hope to have the 360 body lift and breast lift at the same time. So looking forward of getting this extra skin off my abdomen!!! I've really started working out more and it is really annoying to have this skin flopping around!

Please feel free to continue to provide any input, I love hearing everyone else's experiences!

Congratulations on you successful weight loss and upcoming plastics!!!!

You've had some great feedback here.

Def 6 weeks and 8 would be really good. It's a major recovery.

I had LBL and augmentation two years ago. I am not a wuss and its a major, long recovery. I wrote about it on this site. There are very specific timelines for certain things healing and I wrote about some of that.

Like i thinks it's 12 weeks for the lymphatic channels to reestablish. I think it was 9 weeks before I could do any abdominal work so that's thoughtful about you catching a falling patient. My surgeon explained that using the core too early causes the layers to separate and then the final result isn't as tight.

So yea, shoot for the moon in your time off for recovery.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
