You know, I was going through all these posts and noticed that we are all struggling with weight. But with that comes other things like relationships, jobs, kids, school, emotional ups/downs, self image issues, food wants, but what can we do for each other? I'm a Christian and I can pray for you. Add your requests and let me pray for you. As we grow, others will pray for you and before you know it, our prayer circle will be so big, you will have prayers from all over the world. God is good all the time and we all need prayer. You don't have to be religious to need prayer. You just need to ask, and the rest is up to us.

Absolutely love this thread! No matter your religious or spiritual preference it never hurts to have good vibes sent out for you! Awesome idea and I'll be adding everyone in my prayers tonight.

Pls add me and my husband and kids to your list and I will add you as well and your family as well.

Thank you I appreciate it and I will pray for you as well!! I'm going into my 4th week post op and although things have been going ok, it is still rough!!!! It is a lifestyle change that is so mentally tough! I pray for strength for everyone! Food was my drug and I abused it and it made me feel good and bad. And I miss it, but each day does get a little better.

Thank you so much for this! My husband lost his job in October, so I wasn't even sure my surgery was going to happen! Thankfully we were able to pay for COBRA coverage and keep our deductible we had met. He has never been unemployed in the 27 years we've been together, and this is putting a strain on us mentally and financially. We have two adult sons and our daughter is a senior in high school. College is taken care of thanks to the El Dorado Promise (and his former employer), but day to day it is a struggle. I am working, and was able to go back 8 days post-op thankfully. We have been so blessed I know God has something special for us - the waiting is hard though.

Felix- That is so sweet of you. God Bless you for thinking of others.

Praise God for this not me Seahawks Fan. I know what I needed when I went through this. It wasn't just for surgery times either. Times get tough all the time right? Even after surgery, we just feel defeated with skin, people talking, etc. So knowing that others are there in prayer, even if they don't know us, it is even more so appreciated. I hope things are going well for you as I see your current weight is under your goal, so awesome job. Happy New Year.

Paluma, remember, God knows the plans He has for us (Jer. 29:11). Keep your eyes lifted to the hills (Ps 121:1) and know where your help comes from. As for your finances. Consider looking at Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover when you get on your feet.

Prayer is needed my surgery is tomorrow and I'm nervous!

Luvkoko, hope all went well with your surgery today. Can't wait for you to get home and remember, the next week or two will be the toughest you probably will ever face with the new change. Keep focused and when you feel that urge to do something that we shouldn't do, like eat something bad, get in the Word. It will be literally like fasting. YOU GOT THIS. This is one thing we can say, man or woman, We've all been where you are at.

God is good all the time and all the time God is good. This post is great. What a wonderful thought. I pray all the time and know Gods plans is for us to prosper. A great reminder to know God has this. Lets always pray for one another. ????

LOVE Dave Ramsey! Thank you for the verses. Sometimes it just takes someone else reminding you that you aren't alone...
