Once a cheater always a cheater. Two days post, I couldn't take the broth anymore, so I went to Sonic and ordered a Jr. Cheeseburger with mustard, ketchup and onions. I chewed each bite about 20 times and spit it all back into the bag. Pretty nasty, but the taste, woooo weee. I felt like a fat kid in a candy shop. Awesome. But to actually eat, 5 days out, went to this great seafood place to Celebrate a major event in our family and had oysters on a half shell. Went down smooth of course and sat well. That was the same fat kid in the candy shop, but actually eating the candy.

I'm 8 months post and now 85 lbs down. You do what you gotta do because nothing can prepare you for the surgery. Good luck to you and have fun shedding the weight.

I was in a wheel chair about 12 years ago and learned how to walk like a baby. So to be able to get up and out, and to get back down to my military or detective weight is awesome.

Thanks Dub, I appreciate it. I was injured at 9/11 and by two drunks in the line of duty. The last crash really almost killed me and made me permanently disabled, so it contributed to my weight gain. So everyday is a benchmark. Merry Christmas.

Thank God for pictures. It's always hard for me to realize I have lost any weight when I look in the mirror.

man does this motivate me!!!! I'm only 2 & 1/2 weeks pos op and i didn't think i could get more excited!!! you guys all look FANTASTIC!!!! thank you for the motivation!!!!!

Top is 12/3 when I started the preop diet and the bottom is today. 31 lbs down and lost 20 inches total!!

Congratulations to all on your weight loss. This is the best Christmas gift to give ourselves.

Down 65lbs. It's nice being in a xl and it's only been three months . I'm excited for the future.

Good luck to you. Things will be tough at first because of the life change, but get over the initial hump and the weight will fall off and you will be happy like a fat kid in a bakery. Ok, wrong phrase. Lol. We all were that kid once.
