Hey everyone, I am 9 weeks post opp today and I am wondering if I have just hit a stall. Has anyone hit a stall around this time frame? How long did it last? Any typical stall time frames? I did experience the 3 week post opp stall so I'm guessing there is a "stall trend". Thanks in advance!

@@Nikki Monroe - I think your body adjusts (stalls) when it is ready~ regardless of what week it is post-op. That's my opinion. I think as you lose weight your body has to adjust (stall/plateau/etc).

Stay on track: Water, Protein, watch sugars/carbs/calories and keep moving.

Stay off the scale for a few days. Measure yourself, try on old clothes, etc. Inches are just as fabulous to lose as pounds!!!

Breathe - and embrace the stall~

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the weight loss process. Other than a stall at about three weeks post-op, I am not aware of a particular pattern that applies to everyone.

Embrace the Stall!

I've been stalled for weeks but people keep telling me I'm looking fantastic so things are shifting around or something. Need to buckle down and get that walking in to see the scale start moving again.

My friend forced me to take photos and measurements. I am now glad so when I hit a stall then I will take photos and new measurements. But boy oh boy was it hard to take the first photos... Looking at the photos was like looking at a stranger! Did anyone else feel that way?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
