It's official I now have gotten over half way there! I officially have lost more than I have left to lose! I just noticed it this morning and it's a great feeling! I still remember being stuck for 3 weeks at 201 pounds and wanting Onderland so badly.

For those struggling out there... It will come, I promise it will come. Just follow your program. I have been a very slow loser and have had SEVERAL stalls along the way. Just be patient!

@@kranky813 - great attitude!

It is tough to stall - I am doing that right now and the weight loss has slowed down now too. But it okay - I got this!

@@kranky813 I am a sleever from September.

I have had a stall and I thought I was the worst patient in the history of the sleeve

One day I woke up and I was below 200 and I was soooo estatic. That was my "Shopping Goal" for new jeans.

Next goal is 180, as my "Sexy Goal" where I will go out an buy myself a new bathing suit. I am currently 192 .... almost there.

Christmas "little black dress" season is helping with my goal.

170 will be "new boots" goal and 160 .... well that will be the GOAL OF ALL GOALS

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
