I had surgery on 12/3. Had problems until yesterday when I started having diarrhea, and then again today. Called Dr office said no milk in protein shakes and take Imodium. Has anyone else had this problem? I have been drinking sugar free Gatorade and had some sugar free popsicles, tried protein with water but still gave diarrhea even with taking the Imodium.

I wished for diarrhea. I still do. Constipation is my issue since surgery.

liquid in, liquid out. It will go away when you start eating solid food or even puree.

I've had it since 11/19 my surgery date. On pureed and it's a bit better but still liquid. My doc was concerned yet. They recommended trying to get rid of milk as well, didn't seem to help one way or the other. They will just continue to monitor it.

Yep, liquid in liquid out. It will stop with more full liquids or purees.

Always a problem when a fart turns out to be a shart...

I have the exact opposite issue...the nurse told me to take milk of magnesia to move things along, but I've got nothin.
