ONEderland! It finally came!

Recommended Posts

Sigh of relief here, ONEderland found me last night. I had been struggling at 200 for about 2 weeks and last night it finally came. I was so excited and relieved I started singing We are the Champions but I changed the "We" to "I" LOL

My husband and daughter thought I was going a little crazy.

On another note, my co-worker looked at me today and told me that the pants I wore to work yesterday need to be retired. They looked like Zumbas because I have lost so much weight in my butt and thighs.

It's great Tuesday folks!

@@kranky813 - me too!

It found me yesterday morning so I could send it off to the Halloween challenge. I actually skipped 199!!! Electronic scale had me at 197.5...I weigh - walk around, come back and weigh again...still 197.5. Which is 198 in my books! I haven't weighed below the 200's since about 2004?

There is just something so special about Onederland - it just felt so good to cross over this line and every pound I lose moving away from 200 makes me so happy. I will fight like hell to get to my goal and maintain. I never want to cross that line again. Congratulations!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
