I'm going to my 4 hour orientation i was wondering if any one give me idea's of what they will be talking about in that class. I am a little nerves and was wondering what to expect . If anyone has been please give me a little advice .

When I went to mine they talked about the amount of food, fluid intake, told us to bring a baby spoon to the hospital, how long a person would be in the hospital, and the importance of vitamins and protein are. Hope this helps.

I didn't have that orientation. Is this something you do right before surgery?

I did this 2-3 weeks ago. Surgery is Oct 15 for me.

Lots of information is exchanged in this class. They gave me a book that provided all the requirements for the program in great detail. It was about an inch thick.
