Any Oct 6 Sleevers out there?

Recommended Posts

Doing the happy dance. I am three weeks out... The very first week I lost close to 9 pounds. Then the last two weeks I stalled. Today I lost!!!! FINALLY. I am officially down 81.2 pounds! Officially 13 pounds from surgery. I am so happy :)

The first three weeks it melts off. Don't be discouraged by a stall. It happens but you will come out of it and lose a good amount. Seems the body needs time to readjust from time to time

Tomorrow I will be eleven weeks post op. And through these weeks I've gone from being hungry every two hours and worried that I was over eating to not having an appetite or hunger pains at all. Only when I start to feel weak and shaky do I realize, I need to eat something. The problem lies in nothing sounds appealing.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes that discribes me exactly. I have zero hunger now and I love it.

I have no hunger and little interest in food now.

I feel like a horrible mom because I can't even get motivated to cook for my teenage kids. And they still have teenage appetites. *sigh*

Edited to add: I literally feel like I am just eating to get my Protein goals. Most days once I hit my goal, my first thought is "thank god I don't have to eat any more today" It's a relief more than anything. It's a loooooong way from presurgery thinking. Lol

Making a sleeve friendly frittata for Christmas breakfast- package of frozen chopped spinach (thaw and squeeze out excess moisture) Spread in a 9x13 pan that was sprayed with Pam. Beat 6 eggs, add a 1/2 c of parmesan and 1/2 c of low fat cheddar. Pour over spinach. Add some pepper to the top. Cook in 325 oven for 15 minutes. Pull out of oven and immediately top with additional cheese.< /p>

Today I get to start eating cheese so it will make a wonderful Christmas Breakfast.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and a fantastic Christmas!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
