Sleeve with switch

Recommended Posts

Yes, but it got better! I would say the first 12 weeks post sleeve i didn't feel great. Alot of this is caused by mild dehydration in those early weeks.

By 3-4 months out I felt GREAT!

@@yoyena dehydration will also make you tired and if you are on BP meds you may need to check it as well. after a loss of about 25 to 30 lbs my np was dropping to 100/60. I break it in half now. hope to be off the medicine soon.

For me it was about 3 or 4 weeks until my energy started coming back. I took 4 weeks off work and was so happy with that decision simply because my energy level suffered. But trust me, when it comes back, you get a nice bonus. I have so much more energy with every pound I lose.

It definitely took me a few weeks, but now I have more energy then I have had in a long time. I can't wait to see what I will be like by the end of this process, I'll probably turn into the energizer bunny!!! Haha

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
