July Exercise Challenge

What a great way to stay on track! My goal is 4x a week for at least 30min for a total of 480 minutes. Normally I walk 2.5 miles or I do Water arobics but they normally take 1 hour but I am not always able to do them everyday. Wishing everyone a great month!

Here's my update:

Wednesday, 7/4, 24 minutes

Thursday, 7/5, 30 minutes

Here's another update: went to the doctor's for my 1 week post op visit and I officially lost another 7 lbs. since 6/28. Not earth shattering, I know, but it felt good going down and not up!

Thanks for ALL your support and I want you all to know I root for you all too.:clap2: I just want to be in onederland someday!

Hi Everyone,

Musicamomma, can I get in on the July challenge too? I could really use the motivation and the accountability. Why you say...Because I am the ultimate procrastinator!!!!

My goal is to excercise AT LEAST 4x per week for 30 minutes = 420 minutes (from July 8 - July 31)

I've exercised for a total of 111 minutes so far.

(Don't ask where the odd minute came from, I don't know. LOL)

Another update

I have also been riding the aerodyne, but it hurts my butt!

Does going in the pool count? Wait, I can't go in the pool yet!:omg:

OK, I FINALLY made it to the gym!! Slow start because of post op pain, but I feel 100% again!! I did 40 minutes tonight on the elliptical. Hopefully tomorrow I can get in a full hour, and some light weight training.

I need to get my rear in gear...I am NOT feeling motivated and haven't felt motivated in several days!!! I NEED to do what I NEED to do, not what I FEEL like doing! Does that make sense? I need to overcome my 'feelings' and just DO IT! It seems like every time I join a "challange", I lose my motivation! Hmmm...failure mentality???? OK...Gonna post this then move my big ole butt!!!! :)

OK. Just got back from the gym. DId another 45 minutes cardio. (35 elliptical and 10 bike). I'm exhausted. I should sleep good after I shower.

That gives me a total of 85 minutes done. Weeeeee!

Just checking in with my first report. I am up to 255 minutes. I am ahead of my goal right now but I am going on vacation in a week!

Thanks musicalmomma for tracking this for us. This is great accountability.

I was banded on June 28 and I can start exercising tomorrow. I will do 1/2 hour of exercise every other day = 300 minutes, I am so excited!:clap2:

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
