Hi, thanks for the reply, it always helps to talk to someone.....I can honestly say that I was not hungry the first month. I had a fill on June 25 Just 1 cc and I am feeling a little hungry towards the end of the day and I also notice the Slim fast does'nt seem to hold me as long. I go back for another fill on the 25th of this month. I have only lost 2 lbs this week so I guess it will slow down. hey listen 10lbs is nothing to sneeze at.....as long as we are going in right direction hooray for us!!!! I have the same size band as yours. The fills are not bad at all. mine felt no worse than a mosquito bite....Gooooood luck and keep in touch..BEV

Hi Again Bev, Thanks, for your answers. Yes I agree that sharing online does help. I see that were close in age too. I turn 53 on September 27. And I certainly hope I'am restricted by then. No Cake for me! LOL.

I'm hoping when I get my fill mid- July, that I can talk the Dr. into being a little aggresive. we'll see anyways. When did you start your Journey? I started somewhere near the middle of October. So I was hoping for a little more weight off by now. Guess I need patients? HMMM!!!! LOL I could exercize more than the 30-45 min walks that might help? Anyways thanks again I will keep in touch let me know your progree to.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
