I have a hard time keeping it to 3 meals a day... what about you all? From looking it seems like you eat very little. I guess I do too, but I feel like I am constantly fighting the urge to snack, hungry or not.

I also eat a lot more at night than in the morning.

I eat 3 meals with 2 Snacks on most days. That will most likely change once I get some good restriction.

Today:

Breakfast - 3/4 cup of oatmeal with 1 teaspoon of splenda brown sugar

snack - 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese

lunch - 3/4 cup of 13 bean Soup

snack - chocolate Protein Shake

dinner - 4 chicken potstickers with dipping sauce

I usually have 1 snack per day, especially since I have breakfast (protein shake) at 6:30 in the morning. My snack is usually around 10:30 , it all depends. I try not to let my body get the point where I feel hunger, then I tend to be on a mission to make bad choices with my eating

I do snack and now I'm going to try and make it a Protein snack (protein drink, etc). Maybe that will keep me full and from getting the 2nd snack.

I had somewhat restriction but now I think I need a fill.

Question....I have been banded for 6 months and still struggle with Portion Control. I do get stuck on occasion as well. My question is do you make yourself stop or do you feel stuffed? Sometimes I feel stuffed and other times I do not. My last 2 fills have been a struggle so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Carol

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
