Working full time after sleeve

I find it easier to drink more Water when I'm working vs when I'm off. Just take it slow at lunch and you will be fine

If you're 7 weeks out, there shouldn't be any issues. Bring Snacks with you to work and lunches if you can't get home at lunch time. I bring string cheese and greek yogurt for snacks and go home or out for lunch each day. But when I go home I just eat leftovers, so I could just as easily bring those into work with me if I didn't have time to go home at lunch. I also keep some emergency rations in my desk... peanuts and canned chicken salad, just in case I need something in a pinch.

Pack your food for the day..2-3 Snacks and lunch. I find that I graze much less at work anyway, but eat a little somethin-somethin every two hours or so. Make sure you have a good-sized tumbler to make sure you're getting your liquids in.

I started teaching a difficult class of students with emotional disabilities about 3 weeks out and was exhausted and light-headed all of the time and frequently had to work through lunches. For people in other work settings, I would suggest setting timers for all of your Vitamins and mini-meals. I forgot mine a lot throughout the day when I first started working. Once things become routine, and they will, it becomes easier. For example, during English, I would drink Water. I ate lunch when the students ate. I used to eat string cheese during Math-I ate string cheese A LOT because it was so easy to pack. In fact, I still do. Protein shakes I kept under my desk and switched to protein-rich food as soon as I could. I couldn't set timers because my students had sensory sensitivities, but I do in the evenings and on weekends between meals and drinks. I still forget things here and there, but the helplessness and terror I felt after my mom wasn't there to help with recovery anymore is long gone. You'll be fine at work. I hard-boil about a dozen eggs on Sunday and bring two with me every day-one of them ends up being my Breakfast. I also keep a package of light string cheese on hand at all times. I think at 7 weeks I was eating those things. I'd grill up a bunch of chicken at the start of the week and wrap 2 oz of it up in foil and stack them in the fridge so they were portioned and ready-to-go for lunches.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
