Pre-Op appointment Wednesday...

I was approved for my surgery and I am meeting the surgeon in two days. How long does it take to actually set the date? Hopefully soon? I'm full of anxiety, excitement, and fear!

I had my meeting with my Surgeon on March 13th and scheduled my surgery for April 28th. I could have chosen a date a week or two earlier but I needed more time to get m work completed.

It seems fairly fast hear. Insurance has approved. I need a few weeks for work as well. I'm really hoping its in the beginning of May. Good luck everyone! I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow morning.

O ya CINCO DE MAYO! I met with the surgeon today and It was so boring and easy. We set the date for May 5th, 2015! I guess the day before I meet him again and we do some tests. I was so nervous to see him and now I'm just ecstatic! I've lost 30 total since I saw him 8 months ago. SCORE! Chipotle for lunch now to the gym and tanning with my sister. Best day EVER!

Had my pre-op appt today, but my surgery date was provided on my first appt, and we've kept to it. (April 23), We (my husband and I) have 8 days! Tomorrow we start our pre-surgery diets-- which entail liquids (shakes, soups, etc. then on the 4/22 were to have clear liquids only which we'll continue to do after the surgery.

Oh boy seems like a lot of us getting ready. My pre-op with my surgeon is the next Tuesday the 21st My surgery date is May 4th. I start a liquid diet 10 days before surgery.

It is all getting very real. I am excited and anxious but also a little anxiety. It will be a big change. My family is very supportive and excited for me.

brmbrown - you and your husband are doing this together? That is great.

good luck to all of us.

I would love to hear how your surgeries go? I'll add you all as friends! I'm proud of all of us! This is not a journey for the weak. It drives me CrAzY when ppl say it's the easy way out! So GOOD JOB!

Also, my husband is a twig as well!

Sleep study last night. I woke up on a deflated air mattress and had ripped off most of my electrodes. The guy in charge said I flipped and kicked all night, oh well.

I had a terrible time too with the sleep study.. That's by far the least sleep I'd ever had. But yet somehow they advised I'd gone into a deep RAM sleep. I don't think so!
