Surgery date March 16th, who's with me? ????

I'm nervous, excited, so many emotions! I'm 25, married, and have two little girls that are 4 and 2 1/2 months old. This will be my first surgery ever, I've never been put under for anything so It will be an experience! This has been a very private event for me so having others who are going through the same thing, at the same time would be awesome.

I'm ready to do work! ????????

I certainly know how anxious and scared you must be. I had sleeve on Feb 25th and have done very well. I am still on puréed food but will advance to soft in 10 more days. I will say a prayer for all

  • Had my surgery today and so far so good! I feel good! Been up walking and drinking my G2. Hopefully will go home tomorrow!!

  • Mine is the 16th also. I am having a lap band to sleeve revision. I'm so ready!

I'm having a lap band to sleeve revision tomorrow as well. Best wishes to you as your journey moves forward! I'm soooo ready too, been on full liquids and now clear liquids today. Eager to be on the other side of this surgery!

Let do this! Congrats to you!

I know I won't be able to sleep! I'm in bed now sleepy but can't sleep. So nervous!

My sleeve is tomorrow, March 16! I'm nervous, excited and scared but at the same time relieved to be taking this step in the right direction. I need to get my life under control. I am a 1 year survivor of breast cancer, single mom to a great young man and want to be healthier and keep the cancer away so I can be around to watch my son grow up.

I am just about packed, food shopping is done and laundry is underway. Best of luck to all the Sleevers tomorrow! I hope you will be seeing a little less of me everyday (weight that is).

How long did you guys have to wait before get a surgery date? I met with my surgeon and he told me I can have surgery in 3 months if I lose 15-20 pounds.

I actually asked for a surgery date at my second appt, I kinda needed a goal in mind to push through those times I wanted to give up during the pre op diet. Some surgeons require a certain percentage of weight loss prior to operating, their reasons can vary, but i think it all comes down to safety and commitment to change.

Not at all silly! I've been doing the same thing all weekend! Good luck to you!

It's almost midnight here in Texas which means no Water, no nothing! "My bags are packed, I'm ready to goo..."lol ugh, I won't lie you guys, I'm terrified! I hugged my two girls a little tighter tonight, risk of complications are low, but they are there and I'm trying to pep talk myself with all the usual things people say when they don't want u to stress...I don't care about the pain or not being able to inhale food anymore, I just want to come out on the other side and live my life the way I was meant to!

Hope you guys are having a great night! :) ❤️
