  3. I had surgery March 16 and I am down 55 lbs ???????? !! My hair started coming out about a month ago so I'm just wondering how long this is going to last ? It's really bad ????????
  4. Vodka and lemonade ????sounds yummy .. I may have to try that I am not a big drinker but something about summertime lol... I just don't want to cause a major problem by doing so
  5. I know we have been told not to drink. Just curious if an occasional beer or mixed drink will cause damage to your sleeve. I am able to drink a beer slowly , just wondering why I shouldn't other than the empty calories????

  10. I am 1 week post op today and I am trying so hard to get my protein in. I am having a hard time .. They taste terrible. Can anyone recommend a brand/flavor ? Also, what were (if any) provisions for premade protein drinks like premier protein, Special K , lite and fit ? Were they permitted ?
  11. Thank you ! I guess I wasn't expecting to be this sore and i definitely wasn't expecting to be full from 2 sips of water.
  12. I can't even eat a whole cup of jello without feeling like I am going to pop. Drinking water is hard too. 2 sips is all I can handle at a time . I am also very sore . How long until the soreness is gone ?
  13. My surgery is in the morning !! Nervous is an understatement. I pray all goes well tomorrow for those of us having surgery!

  16. My surgery is Monday March 16 and I must say that I am getting nervous but excited at the same time. My major concern is losing my hair. I've heard that can happen . Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening?
  17. Has anyone used dr balder as their surgeon? He is based out of Gulfport, ms... I have seen him twice in his hattiesburg office. He does his surgeries in slidell at a Coe facility. I am waiting on insurance approval and would like to hear from anyone that has used him for gastric sleeve.
  18. I just finished my 6 months with active health now waiting for approval. Getting nervous!
