Premier Protein in chocolate! My favorite to this day and really the only Protein I drink! I don't see why pre-made would be an issue ? I only use the pre-made but if you think it will be a problem just ask :)

Every nutritionist will give you different guidelines. My nutritionist required shakes to have:

Minimum of 20 grams of Protein per serving
Less than 8 grams of carbs with less than 2 grams of sugar, and a minimum of 3 grams of Fiber
Less than 3 grams of fat
Less than 200 calories per serving, best at 150
whey Protein is preferable
I ended up settling on EAS AdvantEDGE Carb Control (Rich Dark Chocolate). They only had 17g of protein, so I added a little extra unflavored whey isolate when I could.

My nutritionist has similar guidelines. Too lazy to look for my handbook, but I think the rules were 20 gms Protein, low carbs and sugar under 8 gms per serving. It also had to be isolates and not concentrates. My own issues were allergies to food dyes, artificial sugars and stevia. Sucrolose was okay for a bit but eventually started irritating me as well. I also can't eat processed foods, so they needed to have minimal ingredients.

I finally settled on Isopure unflavored whey isolate. I then make my own in the nutra bullet with FAGE 0% greek yogurt. I added fresh fruit, almond butter or cacao powder to flavor them.

Premade I like Orgain Organics.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
