But they have like 174947282937 flavors lol so I was hoping i could learn from you guys on which of their products were worth buying and which weren't? Thanks in advance!

    Not losing anything? ?

I have been gaining also! I have gained 3kg since last week and I dunno why as I am not going over 1,000kcals a day sometimes no where near but someone has said bout carbs to cut them back out and see what happens I hear you, it sucks so bad to see a gain! but if you search 3 week stall from this site, there is so much advice already on here about it and after 4 days of moping, i feel so much better! the experts know what they are talking about! we'll see the scale moving soon just keep at it

    Not losing anything? ?

I've read about the 3 week stall but nothing about the 3 week gain :/...sorry to hi-jack UR post OP, but im genuinely concerned about what I could be doing wrong or what I can change. I have gained 5lbs after losing 23lbs...I follow my diet religiously, low carb, only eating two table spoons of food...I barely hit 500 cals. Should I be eating more? My plan says 500 cals so that's what I've been doing. I'm still working up to hitting protein and water goals I get about half of protein 35g and about 50 ounces of water per day. I went from losing near a pound a day to gaining 5lbs in one day. BM are good,..what can I do differently yall? I don't want to fail at this.

What are your favorite Quest Nutrition products?

they have a tool on their website to put in your zip code and it will populate the stores where their products are sold in your area, hope that helps!

What are your favorite Quest Nutrition products?

Thanks for your opinion! I'm post surgery, can't have them until reg diet but I like to do my research beforehand. I totally understand your reasoning for not wanting them and I'm glad you are doing what's best for you. I think the chips are an awesome way to switch things up a bit and they can be an easy 21g of protein at lunch for someone that struggles to hit numbers like me

I'm pretty sure it's the regular diet stage. I could be wrong though maybe ask your NUT just to clarify
  15. Congrats on your weight loss! Coconut oil, organic and unrefined, (usually the refined one is put under extra heat which kills off the benefits) the best thing you can do for dry skin is make sure whatever moisturizer you are using doesn't contain alcohol as it is naturally drying, you want as few ingredients as possible when it comes to your face. The skin on our face is different then the skin on our arms and legs etc, it's much more delicate. At night have UR basic moisturizer and apply it heavily before going to sleep, make sure you massage your face as you apply gently, this helps with circulation. buying super expensive creams with all these claims aren't necessary, any benefits you have from them will usually cease to show once you discontinue use of the product. When you wake up in the morning, Always make sure you have a cream/moisturizer with atleast 15 SPF, anything more is a bonus but extra sunscreen can sometimes cause an oily appearance. Morning creams are more crucial because of the sunscreen. If you wear foundation with 15 SPF it should cover you if it is applied all over face and neck. You can also take Vitamin A, it helps with free radicals and aging! Best thing you can do for your face is making a habit of using sunscreen, staying hydrated, and getting good sleep everyday! Okay I'm done lol best of luck!

    Frustrated

I feel for you! I have been recovering With my two kids, a 3 month old and a 4 year old. I fortunately have a super high pain tolerance and hate pain meds so I cut Them out the second day. I had morphine in the hospital and It was the worst, I mean sure my pain was gone but I couldn't sleep, couldn't breathe, but I am very sensitive to medicine so my case is most likely not the usual. When I told My doc I couldn't take the codeine he prescribed he said I could take Tylenol extra strength 500mg every six hours. The first few days I was getting off the pain meds and all I did was count the hours until my husband came home so I could sleep, the night time feedings were the worst, I was walking around like quasi Modo lol, but by day 4 I was back to my normal self. Hang in there girl, if anything you aren't alone and I feel your pain, it will get better. Call your doc, hope he can do something!

    Soft Foods

If you have a crock pot, you can try and get creative with sauces, the sauce will make it juicy/flavorful and the slow cook will make it tender and soft! good luck! I've seen soft foods include lots of deli meat wrapped around cheese and heated! So many awesome ideas on IG!
  19. I don't believe Unjury is sold in stores at the moment, you can only buy from their website. I could be wrong though hopefully someone can answer for sure!

What are your favorite Quest Nutrition products?

Thanks so much everyone! I was planning on trying some, but wanted to see what the general consensus was to weed out flavors that majority didn't seem like. the variety pack is a great idea, i didn't see that! Thanks!

    Sick of the drama

I completely agree! This isn't just any support board or Internet forum. This is a site where people come to talk about their struggles, reveal weaknesses, and celebrate what they have overcome! I'm pretty taken back by some of the responses I've read during my short time on this board and I've been on many support boards through my pregnancies, when I was a military spouse, being a mom, and now WLS. I'm all for tough love, but that doesn't mean it has to be borderline condescending and self righteous. Tough love is just that, it's tough and to the point, but it's the love part that I see being omitted sometimes. We all come from different walks of life, and this is the internet so no one really "knows" anyone or what their reaction will be, so regardless of the kind of delivery you prefer to give, I think it's best to be mindful of who is on the other side of the screen. I don't think anyone expects someone to be artificial and fake, but Just use normal manners as you would talking to a stranger face to face. Im sure it's harder for some, But WLS is already hard enough without all the drama!

    Surgery 3-16-15 an starving

Hun at this point there's no going back, the sleeve is only a tool, we make the decision on what we put in our mouths. My dietician thoroughly explained to me what the diet entailed both pre-op and post-op, so I don't understand how you couldn't have known? But since you say you didn't the only thing you can do now is stop sabotaging yourself and stick to the plan as closely as possible. Right now our stomachs are healing, so it's very dangerous to just try anything at this point. I know it sucks, I'm in the same process you are in now, but trust your surgeon and team, they want nothing but success for you!
  25. I am doing well girl! every day gets easier I also tried some cream of wheat and added some milk to thin it out, I tried my premier Protein Shakes and they make me a little queasy...i think I've developed a milk intolerance , but I've read thats common, I'm staying away from them for now! funny though I can eat cottage cheese?!!?!! I've tasted just little things here and there, nothing too crazy though lol oh i tried some greek yogurt! a whole tub 5.3 oz was 80 calories, you have to get some 12g of protein( for the container) but 4 tiny tip of the spoon bits and i was so full. it was a very weird feeling, kind of a relief though that my life doesn't have to revolve around food anymore. i won't lie though i miss it kinda, but i think thats what this whole stage is about, making the change! i have been lucky, my energy restored post-op day 4 thank goodness, my kids need it! especially my 3 month old who likes to wake up at 6am to play lol well until our next update, take care!
