Anyone wake up with Acid in the middle of the night

I am having acid issues. I'm taking two 20 mg prilosects. One in the morning, one in the evening. I'm still waking up in the middle of the night choking on acid. Has anyone had these issues?

No and I take 20mg of nexium once daily. That sounds awful, have you contacted your surgeon? Maybe they can try a different med? In the meantime sleep with your head& upper body elevated some and try not to eat late.

It is aweful and I was out of Tums the other night so it was hard to get rid of the nasty acid taste. I drank Orange juice in the middle of the night and the acid followed so I know not to do that again. I've found that Sam's has the cheapest anti acid pills.

I'm almost 6 months post op and this just started. I'm finally able to eat a decent amount of food, but I'd say no more than 6 ounces at a time. Can't believe I'm still soda free.
