We'll see you there! My sister and I are scheduled for 5pm and 6pm tomorrow. The nerves kicked in last night and, of course, my mind went to the worst place possible as I was snuggling my son. But I'm confident everything will turn out great and my new life with my family will begin this week!! Really looking forward to kicking a ball around without feeling my joints scream!!

Best wishes ladies!!!

You and your sister will do great! Sending positive vibes and prayers your way!

We are almost to the losers bench lol⏰

This is a great place and they are wonderful people. I was there last week. You will be extremely pleased and happy. Hang in there.

KiKi52 & Designer Edit (& sis) I'm thinking of you three. I'm believing that all is well and will stay well with you all. I'm asking The Lord to bless Dr. M's & his assistants hands and hearts also.

I want to congratulate everyone on their upcoming surgeries. Please keep us posted and we're all sending good vibes and love your way.

Hey Trice,

Did I see you in the waiting room entering the clinic? I was really out of it still so I'm not sure if that was you. My sister and I are with Kiki and Machè (sp?) at the recovery house now. The surgeries went well even though my sister and I had a mild melt-down about 1 hr before wondering, "why are we doing this to ourselves". It only took a few minutes of talking to remember all of the benefits (I think it was hunger, thirst, and a bit of a language barrier that made me panic).

The doctors and nurses were so warm and friendly - a real pleasure to be in their care. My sister didn't have her surgery until 8pm last night so she's still more sore and loopy than I am but we're both doing well and the other ladies seem to be too!

Good luck and you're in our thoughts!

Yes that was me! I thought I saw you too going downstairs with your pillows ????. Bless your hearts. We talked to Kiki 52 and another lady and they seemed to be doing well also. Yea a slight language barrier. I'm making it. I'm just ready to go back and get it over with lol. I might run into you all at the recovery house tomo. There are three of us having surgery today.

I know what you mean. The freak out wants to come but I'm gonna fight it I guess lmbo. ????????????????

My fear was that I'd instantly regret it, especially once I was in a bit of pain but the pain meds knock you out so you won't really have a chance to process it and when you do, it's fine. The fear is the real enemy!!

By now you've had it anyway so let us know how you're feeling when you feel up to it!

Talk soon,

Gen

Hope all of you all are doing ok.

We're back home in Canada after a long day and doing well. One question I have to ask you all though - did you actually crush and eat the antibiotics every 12 hours? The taste was horrid... Like made me gag, got the hiccups (ouch), never want to take it again horrid!! Going to see if I can get an appointment with my GP tomorrow for an alternative - liquid or injection or whatever!!

I took mine with a little Apple juice and that helped me with the taste ????

Hey Gen! I made it through. Just sitting her waiting for the time to head back to the airport and having some "lunch". Lol. I'm tolerating everything pretty ok at this point. I even had the apple juice. Mom really ready to head back though. I miss my hubby and my kids. ????

I'm still a little sore and trying to learn this new tummy.

I was super glad to get that drain out. Everyone at the recovery center has been great and really on top of things. Not looking forward to that 3 hr layover between my flights.

Anyway I feel really blessed to have been able to get this done and that I am doing well.
