  • So far waiting for my surgery, they took blood, I peed in a cup, I have my IV. The clinic is small but very efficient. Everyone is so nice.

  • Anyone interested in having surgery, this is the best place, hands down. Everything is NEW! It is right next to the plastic surgeon, Dr. Victor Gutierrez, and I hear he is the best plastic surgeon

Yeah, that does kinda suck. That would have been a great price for Dr. Illan for sure! He is usually around 5k.

I have never heard of him :/ doesn't mean he's a bad surgeon, I have just never heard anyone on here talking about him. Have you heard of Dr. Zavalza?

The surgeon on that site also is Dr Jorge Maytorena. I tried looking up reviews but haven't found many. I talked to the coordinator and he was very nice and super informational. He said the price was low because they perform the surgery at in a surgical clinic instead of a hospital. Then you are transported to the recovery place.

I spent a ton of time reviewing the website & Dr. M. I can't find anything bad about him (negative stuff always comes up of its there). The lower cost is because it's an outpatient clinic. I'm going to look into this.

When r yall set for surgery?

I will more than likely be going with them also. If you guys are nervous like me lol i emailed them the other day and asked to speak with the surgeon! You just let them know a time and date and he'll call or skype you which is Awesome. I just want to make sure I ask him as many long term questions about the sleeve as possible. Becasuse if anything goes wrong I wont have the money to go back to Mexico I will need care in the U.S. Im ready!

I will schedule some time in May, maybe the beginning also wish it could be sooner though

I just returned from Tijuana after being sleeved by Dr. Maytorena. I am tired as I literally just got home but I will make it a point to provide an update of how my surgery went.

I've been eager to see Chrissyg reply lol
