I'm scheduled for April 1! April fools Day? Yikes. Here's hoping my surgeon isn't a prankster and rearranges things so that my arm flies up every time I burp or something.

Good luck to all of you! I was sleeved almost one year ago on April 16, 2014. Best decision I ever made and easiest weight I've ever lost!!!! Good luck on your own journey! Xoxoxo

So I am scheduled for surgery on the 14th and had an appointment yesterday with the anesthesiologist (never heard anyone else mentioned this before) anyhow just saw a missed call from the surgeon's office that they need to talk to me about something I discussed with the anesthesiologist now I am nervous not sure what the hell that means I dont remember telling him anything that the doctor isnt already aware of. Anyone out there with any ideas or suggestions? Just so I can stop freaking out I can't speak to the doctor until Monday.

Any word from the doctor??

Husband has emergency out of town trip day before surgery. I had to ask my elderly parents to meet me at the surgery center Thursday morning to drive me home. So stressed out & upset. Last day of work tomorrow before surgery, 14 hr shift

Awwww, I'm so sorry! How stressful. I know, having to work the night before stinks. I got off at 10pm last night. The good thing is that you'll have the best sleep ever the next morning. No matter how old we (or they) get, we still need our parents sometimes. I'm sure they are happy to drive you. There is a lot to look forward to. Don't let this get you down, ok?

Hello!!!!! Im New here and my surgery is April 17th! :) but I am a little nervous .. but Excited all at the same time... :D

Hello to you too! My surgery is April 18. I too am nervous a little bit, but like you, extremely excited. My surgery will be in Mexico. I fly in the 17th to San Diego. On an all liquid diet right now. I wish you all the best!

OMG OMG OMG I leave tomorrow! Flying to San Diego tomorrow! Then surgery Wednesday! It's sooo surreal.

Two more days! Well, once tomorrow gets here....lol! I'm excited!

Jessica I'm so sorry that you had a rough go at it please keep us posted and let us know how your recovery is doing.

I had my surgery on the 10th and my first 24 hours I had a lot of pain I'm not going to lie at the gas pain was horrible but it was short-lived for me. The second day was much easier and now I am at about 3 1/2 days and feeling really good just a little tender around that abdomen but back to my usual grocery shopping and cooking and cleaning routines. I feel really good. But I am struggling with head hunger and I'm already getting tired of just having a liquids would love to be able to have some thick soup or some applesauce or some peas or mashed potatoes. But I know I just have to stay the course and things will get easier I'm glad I have this forum and all of the experience people on here to ask questions when I get stuck or I'm struggling with something. Any April's slevers feel free to add me as a friend and keep me posted on your progress and recovery

Thanks for the encouragement. One way or the other, it will be over in two days.
