“The Biggest Loser:” Irresponsible Weight Loss Surgery Comments?

Recommended Posts

This moron works for a company that sells products to fat people. The only reason it (surgery) is distasteful is because you no longer have the need for their product. I grew up a fat kid with glasses.. this pelican head wants me to be ashamed for doing something to better my health.. please.. If his comments hurt your feeling worse than someone else's, you need to get a grip.

@@Alex Brecher can we sign that letter too??

That would have been a wonderful idea! The letter was sent out today via FedEx so it's a little too late now. Next time I'm going to keep your suggestion in mind, thanks.

You have to grow a few layers of thick skin when you are an obese person. It comes in handy when you have weight loss surgery too. The prejudice and abuse that people seem to think is perfectly normal to hurl at the obese doesn't go away.

People's negative opinions aren't going to put back on the 140lbs I've lost. Their negative comments aren't going to make me re-suffer pre-diabetes, severe sleep apena, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure.

Those with the most negative opinions...well, the psychology of those folks is rather simple.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
