I am scheduled for surgery on Thursday, I am just wondering for those of you who have had surgery what kind of yogurt did you get? I am able to have some on the 3rd day I was going to get stuff on Wednesday just to be prepared.

The kinds I liked, without chunky stuff mixed in. When it's the only thing you can eat, you want it to be something you enjoy!

Like some others, I'm a big fan of the Dannon Light & Fit greek yogurt. HIgh Protein, low carb, no sugar.

I guess I should call my dietician, because I am a little confused because my list says light yogurt or Greek yogurt. It says do not add fruit so do they mean plain or no chunks. Confused???

My vote is also for Fage. I'm using the 2% as I need the extra calories for now.

It depends on your food program. I was allowed fruit. from stage one one. In stage 1 & 2 it had to be baby food consistency with no sugar added. However I also like it plain and add it to my Protein Drinks to increase my Protein intake.

Dannon fit and light greek has flavored yogurts that are smooth without chunks like key lime or banana cream. There are other brands of flavored yogurts as well. At the beginning you just want to stay away from anything with "bits" in it.

You can of course add flavorings like Tirani Syrup and sweeteners to plain yogurts if you prefer.

I was only allowed drinkable yogurt. Real yogurt was said to be too taxing on digestion.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
