Hi All,

I'm 1 Month post op and had a questions about smoking weed.

I was a chronic user before my surgery but stopped smoking a month before my operation.

Have any of you smoked after surgery? I dont have a vaporizer but I have a pipe and a bong.

I asked my PA and she said that it should be fine, but I want people's personal experiences.

Besides the munchies, what would go wrong with smoking from a pipe or bong? I'm looking into getting a vape but it's expensive.

Thoughts?

I know it's not the same but at christmas I was stressed so I smoked some cigarettes and well it ended up putting me in the hospital for a week. I ended up getting very dehydrated CUZ it hurt to drink, long story short smoking gave me ulcers on my digestive track. I'm 6 weeks post op and still struggling to get my Water in and throw up constantly.

I started smoking 2 weeks after my surgery and I felt perfect . I'm a daily user. I am about 8 weeks out. I had surgery Nov 20 .

Invest in a Volcano vaporizer. My friends who partake tell me that it's the safest method of ingestion.

I would assume that the same rules apply that are in place for tobacco use (assuming you are smoking it, not using an edible). I was told absolutely no smoking.

Yes surgeons are the one with the best answer just my personal experience on how long I waited .

Sorry to be negative but do you really think smoking weed is in line with the healthy lifestyle you want? It slows you down, increases appetite, numbs you out, bad for your lungs. Just saying... Is it worth it? Not that I'm one to talk I know we all need our ways to relax.

Has anyone ever used a dry vape pen for weed? I smoke about 6 weeks after surgery and had the worst pain please help I wanna smoke lol

I use a vape pen with no nicotine since I quit smoking before surgery but my surgeon said I can use Patches IDK about weed every surgeon is different on suggestions my wasn't fussed
