How are you keeping track of what you are eating? I use myfitnesspal to make sure I stay on the right path. I also keep my FitBit on to make sure I am up and moving.

I'm just past 4 months. My fitnesspal is my recorder. I do a Protein Drink for Breakfast every morning. After that it's up in the air what I eat. I do have my main Protein supplements of tuna creations, baked tilapia, and canned chicken. They're always on hand and I eat a lot of them. I recently slowed down my weight loss but I know it was the choices and quantity of food I was eating. After I corrected my mistake I was loosing at my normal pace again. I'm now into store bought rotisserie turkey breast. I have them cut into steak size and it works out to about 3 oz each.

Canned chicken and tuna are great sources! I add a little bit of olive oil and get creative with salt-free seasonings. Yummy and satisfying. I usually pair with a 1/2 of serving of flatbread or crackers and some fruit or a greek yogurt. I am usually too full to even finish an entire meal.

For me on canned chicken I just drain the Water most of the time but I sometimes add zesty honey mustard into it. As for tuna Creations it's a bag StarKist product. I like the Sweet & Spicy flavor.

Sweet and spicy is one of my favs.

I also dig sushi sans rice.

Just like some of the other people. I keep track of everything with myfitnesspal. I also have a fitbit that I use daily. I try to get 100 + grams of Protein a day and keep my carbs under 40 grams a day.

A typical day for me is up and out the door at 6:30 with a Protein shake made with soymilk and a whey isolate ( prob around 30 grams a protein)

Breakfast is Protein pudding ( 1 box of SF pudding w 1 3/4 cup soy milk and 4 scoops of protein powder). I divide into 6 servings for 6 breakfasts (about 20 grams of protein)

lunch is usually 3 oz. of meat (chicken, turkey, a turkey sausage, or beef) with some kind of sauce and about 1/4 cup of either cottage cheese, edamame, or steamed green Beans

afternoon or post-workout is a Protein Shake this time with Water (about 25 grams of protein)

dinner is usually about the same as lunch, a different meat and sauce)

I am 5 months post op RNY and have lost 105 lbs. so far. I rarely eat out. I've made tons or recipes from Pinterest that I'll change a bit to suit my tastes. I've also cut out all sugar, wheat, Pasta, rice, potatoes, most high sugar fruits, flour, etc. from my diet. I don't miss any of those things at all!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
