Had surgery yesterday

  • Popular Post

Well I had my surgery yesterday. Everything went great and I am feel very good. Not much pain only a little tenderness around the incision areas. Have some discomfort in my should but they warned me of that. Anyway I am excited that I am now on the other side of surgery and feeling good.

How is the gas? Mine is just now dissipating. Yowch. Lots of Water. Resisting the urge to just stay lying down.

The shoulder pain surprised me a bit but I didn't find post off all that painful, congrats and good luck.

Congrats and good luck

Congratulations ReDiane. I am in the beginning process. I have an interview next week with the nutrionist. How long were you in the hospital? Did they give you any pain medication?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I stayed the night because I have sleep apnea. I think most people have day surgery

Really good meds. I took as Doctor ordered first night and next day and then a few times at night just because I thought I would get a better sleep

Mine was outpatient so I was only at the hospital a total of 5 hours. I was given pain meds but honestly have not needed them. I took a dose the first night just to help me make sure that I got good rest but other than that have a need them at all.

I had a hernia repair done at the same time. This might have been why I needed some meds for 3 days

Congratulations and best wishes -- it's the best thing I've done in forever. One year out and so happy.
