D. What a ride!

That's a story you'll be telling for years to come. I know, little good that does today. Happily no one got hurt. (Like the Indian dude.)

You've got a great attitude about the situation.

Hi Traci

D - What a ride! While riding the trainer in the exercise studio may be boring as shit, at least I don't worry about flats or being part of a root beer float!

BG - Are ya out riding the ODB?

JC - How's the recovery from yesterday's ride and its associated aches and pains?

JC...Gosh what a major bummer...what the heck? Well, it could be a good news thing. Maybe you are going to be able to keep your band and get refilled. Are they going to check you by exray????

I am sorry you are bummed....I had been thinking about you

Thanks HP, I was thinking of asking them to do a barium study and look at the thing again. If it looks good I will ask them to refill the darn thing.

JC

I understand being disappointed.

Is it that you wanted a solution, any solution, rather than not knowing?

HP was right, perhaps they are giving you more time to resolve the issue before, checking with an x-ray, with the hopes of you keeping your band.

It's really hard to go around with out knowing what may happen, I'm sure. But put it somewhere in your head, "it's okay not to know."

Or if you're just pissed for any host of other reasons disregard the above.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
