Has your shoe size changed?

Recommended Posts

I already had big feet! Then when I was pregnant they went up a size. So now I'm sporting skis for feet lol!

Did your shoe size change as you lost weight?

Absolutely.......I actually walked right out of my shoes one day on the steps at works. I laughed so hard.

I used to wear 7.5 or 8 wide. Now I can wear a 7 or 7.5 medium

Yep. I used to wear 9.5 W or 10 but now I wear 8.5. Just ordered some new shoes because mine are all too big!

I would love to be in a 9-9.5. I went from 10 to 11 smh. Size 11 heels on a 5' tall woman is NOT RIGHT! ????????

I had a terrible time trying to find size 10, I can't imagine trying to find cute size 11's! I still have at least 50 pounds to go so I'm curious if I'll end up a size smaller. My feet and ankles already look pretty boney.

It's not easy at all! But I've gained so much weight that now I can't really wear my heels anymore so now it's just finding cute flats. It's not bad in the spring/summer. But winter/fall is a bi@#h

Sadly even after 100 lbs I'm still wearing a size 9. I tried on some 8.5s and they are too small. I have lost an inch in the calf and ankle so boots fit better.

My feet were really wide. Now all of my shoes fit really comfortable. I also went from a size 9 to 8.5.

Who doesn't like shopping for new shoes???

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
