I'm to tight and miserable

Recommended Posts

I had my fourth fill on Tuesday, May 15th. Water went down fine. I had (or tried) to drink a Protein Shake that night and could only get down a few sips. Wed morning I had to fly out of town and tried drinking another shake, once again only a few sips. Here it is Wed Night and I am absolutley miserable and out of town. I tried drinking another shake - got down more of it - but it came up and now I can't even drink water. So, here i am in the middle of the night and can't sleep. Waiting for morning so I can change my flight and get home to see the doctor. This really sucks.

I'm sure the fact that I threw up has really aggravated my stomach, but I can't wait for it to relax.

I haven't done well with fills. My second fill I was to full - but we knew while I was still there. They took some out (probably to much) and I didn't have enough restriction. The last fill was better, - but probably not the "Sweet" spot.

I am only at 2cc's too. So keep in mind - everyone is different and reacts to fills differently.

I think I am too tight also. I had my 4th fill about 3 weeks ago and almost every time I eat, I throw up. I have restriction with liquids too. I am going back next week. Is it common to have an unfill or what?

Oh, that does suck!

DH had a similar experience on vacation last year, and when we did get home and talk to our doctor, they suggested that if it ever happens again, to call their office and they would send us to someone local for an unfill.

With my first fill, even though it was a conservative 1.5cc, it was an overfill. I don't think I've EVER felt so much relief than when I was able to drink an entire bottle of Water right after I was unfilled

Congrats and glad you feel better!!

I too was overfilled! Lost 15 lbs. in 2 weeks, am adjusting because of the weight loss. I only do Protein Shakes and liquids in the morning and can finally eat later in the day. No bread or tortillas, which is smart anyway. I totally understand those of you that throw up. Let me ask a question: Do you only throw up mucus (really slimy, clear stuff) and no food? That's me, and just wondering about anyone else!

Has anyone ever had the feeling of your stomach being in your throat?I have this feeling in the mornings before I've had my coffee, once I have my coffee I no longer have this feeling UNTIL Evening time and that's only if I'm not drinking fluids.I've never had this feeling before my last recent fill.I do have a pretty tight fill,I can't eat Breakfast and usually can start to nibble on soft foods at lunch time with some luck I can get a bite in but by early evening I can eat just about anything.

You know, my first fill, it took 5 days before I could eat like eggs. this time they put in another 1 cc, it has been 6 days and i feel it even when i have my tea in the morning. Really can't have anything like mashed potaotes until dinner, and even then my tummy makes a burp sthingy sound. Yesterday I had just a couple of sips of Soup, stopped that and some mashed potaotes and because i was with someone in public, couldn't spit out teh flem my moth kept producing, so threw up as soon as I got back. UGH!! I think I might be too tight, but then again, I may not go back because I do like the weight loss. Won't it eventually get better?

sorry about that doubleposting, must have hit the mouse twice.

I am trying now to eat a yougart, and after only 3 spoons my stomach is making those noises like old plumbing (lol). Won't this subside in a few days? I am thinking it will and figure i will enjoy the weight loss in the mean time. what do you all think?

You know I like the weight loss too, but sometimes I wonder if this is worth it.

I finally added the Protein shakes, sip little by little to get it down, just so I have some nourishment. Also, upped my Vitamins. I hate to to go out and eat also, same thing happens unless it is late at night. I live in Mexico, love the tacos, but can't eat tortillas anymore.

Do you find that crunchy things like chips are fine anytime?:hungry:

What do you think happens if you get the stomach flu, you can't throw back up through the ring can you? I always wondered about that. Anyone know?

Well, I guess we'll stay tight on the bands, eventually the fat around it will come off and it will be more comfortable.:(

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
