Snack ideas?

What does everyone do for snacks? I need some ideas. I usually do cheese or a little hummus but I need to mix it up. Any ideas? Does anyone eat beef jerky or slim jims? Are those allowed?

They call a serving 13 crackers/crisps... OMG I couldn't eat 13 if I tried.. anyway 13 crackers is 22 carbs /2 grams fiber. So that is about 1.5 carbs per cracker. Yeah, but this is a SNACK not a meal... and 0 sugar, so I think they are the best crunchy cracker thing I have found... better than pretzels/chips/ritz.... you know.

thanks! I'm gonna hold of getting them til after surgery. .I would eat way more than a serving now lol...i forget that won't happen later :)

I do the jack links turkey jerky snack packs. I love them. I also love a thin slice of turkey wrapped around 1/2 a cheese stick and a pickle spear. Babybel cheese, sliced cucumbers topped with homemade pimento cheese spread. I eat a lot of cheeses and nitrate free all natural lunch meats

I eat a lot of SF popsicles. I especially like the tropical ones. Power Crunch bars are my go to protein bars of choice. I like the peanut butter fudge the best and also Berry, and Chocolate Mint. I also like Philadelphia low fat cream cheese and chive spread on Multigrain Wheat thins. I've tried to stay away from breads, but the dietician wants me to get in some grains and fiber so this is my go to choice.

I like power crunch cause they are pretty low in carbs and taste good but they are messy much messier than think thin and premier protein crisp bars. Peanut butter, choco mint also wild berry are deeeelish

I add chocolate Protein powder (or whatever flavor) to my decaf coffee. To keep it from clumping I mix once scoop with about 2 oz. of soy milk in my Ninja the night before then pour it into my Keurig coffee in the morning. It's how I start everyday now!

I've tried the cookie dough Oreos and they're not NEARLY as good as they sound. They taste like butter and leave a weird texture on the roof of your mouth. Ick!

Step AWAY from the Oreos!

Lol...okay I have no issue with anyone eating one (or two) seriously... But if the entered my house I would have a very hard time only eating one (or two). I would eat one (or two) a couple times a day till they were all gone!

I admire those of you who can do that!

I'm with you. I may or may not have killed more than my fair share of Oreos pre-op. I do not plan on even bringing them around now that I'm post-op. My poor kids are going to be deprived! :P
