If you're going through hell, keep going! I felt like crap for the first couple of weeks, but now--9 weeks later--I feel great. You'll get there.

You all are impressive! Thank you for the support and kindness. As to the water, yes I'm drinking and don't have a problem with that. Thank you all again.

Hi,
I just joined this forum and am about 12 days post surgery. I am finding this to be very very difficult. I know I'm not eating enough protein or even calories for that matter. I cannot even think about drinking another protein shake-- for that matter I can't even look at the box that they came in without wanting to projectile vomit. I could not sleep for almost a week and it was driving me crazy. Without sleep I had no energy to walk or do anything. My doctor finally prescribe something for sleep and last night I slept a few hours. I'm still very low energy and really don't feel like doing anything. How long does this part last? Honestly I'm wondering if I haven't made the worst mistake of my life.
