Medicare post op patients, need some help!

I live in NY, and have Medicare/Medicaid as my insurance, anybody out there know if they cover skin removal surgery after I lose my weight and get down to my goal weight??? Thank you in advance!!

I'm in Florida and only have medicare (not medicaid) and can tell you that they do not cover plastic surgery for skin removal. I think (don't know for a fact) that if you document together with your GP and Plastic surgeon that you are suffering from rashes and other skin disease issues that there's a possible case for plastics in that instance.
