Its time for another challenge! This challenge will be beginning with the first weigh in on Friday September 5th. From there on after, weigh ins will take place Fridays. Last weigh in will be Friday October 31st. This will allow a total of 9 weigh ins in all. I will post the link for the spreadsheet once its the week of. Few reminders. -Weights will be entered in whole numbers. -please post weigh ins here in this post only. -we are all here to support each other..so questions posted here will be answered by anyone else willing to help. -if you want to adjust your goal weight, just add that in any reply to this post. -if you miss a weigh in...no biggie. Just report back in the next week. -this is an amazing tool to help us all! Make it fun, challenge yourself, and cheer on the rest of the pack! -I'm no excel expert. I can do only the basics. So this isn't a fancy spreadsheet by any means. But I will keep it up to date and do my best to report the onderlands and other big crossings as I am able to. I do have young kids and I also work too. So some weeks i'm not able to update until a few days after report in day. It will be done. Lastly, you will know it is updated once I have liked your post. Have fun with this! Challenge yourself in new ways! Join us for the halloween challenge!

Count me in also.

Why don't you pick a reasonable goal of 1-2 lbs/ week and anything above that will be icing on the cake. This early out from your surgery you will more than likely lose quicker because your eating liquids or full liquids... I'm now about seven weeks out and I know I did, but I did have the dreaded 3rd week stall and it lasted just about 2 weeks!!! It's insane that you can be eating so little (500-800 cal/ day) and not lose weight. Anyway one day 2wks after it started I dropped like 7 lbs in one day. Just be patient when it happens( if it happens) because you are not doing anything wrong it's just one of those things. Good luck!! I guess my point of this post is be reasonable when setting your goal and don't set yourself up for failure and as a result discouraging yourself.

Count me in on this challenge too! On vacation now so won't be able to send my final weight for the Labor Day challenge till I get home tonight but I fear I gained a bit this weekend--I am proving the adage that you can't outrun a bad diet--spent the weekend at Disney running a 5 & 10K and waking 6 hours a day, but also eating very poorly (by choice, I chose to splurge and eat that 1/4 of a funnel cake and whatnot! And enjoyed the heck out of it, but back on track today!) So...I was around 149 when I left, gonna shoot for 145 because I think that's where I want my goal to be. The trick may be more to maintain. I have honestly NEVER in my teen/adult life NOT been trying to lose weight! It will be very strange and might pose quite the challenge!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
