Surgery Tomorrow... Anyone else going in soon?

Hi All,

I've been browsing these boards for a while and finally decided to create an account an introduce myself. My name is Julie, I'm a 34-year-old elementary school teacher from NY/ NJ (I live in Staten Island, and teach in NJ). My summer vacation began yesterday, and my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. I'm feeling a very strong mix of excitement, terror, and anxiety, but I'm trying to block it out and focus on the positives. I'm the first surgery scheduled for tomorrow (I have to be there at 5:30 am), so I'm grateful for that. I can't wait to get this over with and be on the other side!

Good luck to you Julie! Great and perfect timing for you. They won't recognize you when you return.

Congratulations on on making your plan for a healthier life. The first thought that came to my mind was OH MY, what a commute to work you have! Whether you use public trans or drive I promise you a much easier commute with some of the lbs gone. Come back in a few days and let us know how you are doing.
